Recipients: Performing Arts Master Class Series - Crosby, Jefferson, Jr. High & Highschool

This new grant significantly enhanced the music programs at both the high school and junior high levels. Students had the unique opportunity to work with clinicians who specialized in specific instruments—such as percussion and trumpet—through focused sessions offered at both schools. The grant’s educational impact was especially strong, as it allowed students to learn directly from collegiate professors with deep expertise in their respective instruments—expertise that may go beyond that of even the most experienced school music teachers. The broader community also benefited by enjoying a free performance by a professional vocalist and pianist.
