Graphic Textile Design Production Grant
Who is benefiting? Students enrolled in Graphic Design, Digital Imaging I & II, and AP Studio Art at Harvard High School are the primary beneficiaries of the new graphic printer.
How are they benefiting? These students now have the opportunity to design and print their artwork directly onto T-shirts, providing a hands-on, tactile learning experience. This process strengthens their digital design skills while allowing them to bring their creative ideas to life in a tangible, professional format. It also gives them valuable exposure to real-world production methods and artistic expression.
Why is this important? (Educational/Community Impact) This initiative enhances the educational experience by giving students access to professional-grade tools that support branding, portfolio development, and artistic entrepreneurship. It builds confidence, technical skill, and creativity—preparing students for future opportunities in design, marketing, and the visual arts. The broader school community also benefits from the visibility and pride these student-created projects generate.
p>New or Ongoing? This is a new, one-time project made possible through the Graphic Textile Design Production grant, awarded to Harvard High School and educator Michael Wargaski. The grant funded the purchase of a graphic printer and essential supplies, totaling $9,589.
