Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account that allows donors to contribute assets to a public charity and receive tax benefits. The funds in a DAF can then be invested tax-free and used to recommend grants to eligible charities. Funds may be set up with a financial institution that operates DAF's.
