The Harvard Community Education Foundation was established in 1996, and in those 25 years has steadily grown its endowment. The Harvard community, local businesses and individuals, as well as support from people and companies beyond our borders are the reasons for our sustained growth. In the last seven years alone, the HCEF granted over $400,000 in Mini Grants, Mega Grants, and scholarships to further the education of the students of the Harvard Community School District. This year we were also able to support the new DUO program offered at the Harvard High School. This program allows students to graduate high school with an associate’s degree from MCC. The HCEF covers 1/3 of the costs for each DUO student.

The Annual Black & Gold Ball is the only event the Foundation hosts each year and is the primary fundraiser for the organization. It provides the HCEF a platform to recognize community involvement, clarify our mission and share our ideas about the future of the Foundation.

Any financial support that you or your firm are able to provide would greatly help us to continue to fulfill our mission of Enriching & Expanding Educational Opportunities of Students Enrolled in Harvard Schools. If you are able to support us this year, please use the enclosed envelope or donate directly via our website.

Consider donating directly or setting up a Planned Giving Strategy.
